Sara & Randy had planned an intimate wedding in the Northern California mountains with their friends and family. Then Randy got a job transfer out to Pennsylvania. They headed to the local courthouse where they were living in Minnesota and married in a small ceremony with a few friends and family. 1 year later they followed through with their planned wedding in California as a vow renewal in Sara's home town of San Jose.
But Sara & Randy couldn't have just a normal wedding...They would have a completely backwards wedding! 2 days before their renewal ceremony we met up with them in San Francisco to photograph their formal portraits around the city. 2 days later they had a picnic in the park with their families and friends. They started with the party and games. Followed by toasts and cake and family photos. Then finally, at the end of the day, Sara & Randy walked up the hill to an overlook and Sara's father walked her down the aisle to her husband. We had a fabulous time with their families. We were among the many people sad to see them return to Pennsylvania. But we'll never forget the great time we had working a wedding completely in reverse!
